Subscription or one-time: how to choose your Lumen plan

Every Lumen plan includes every module. The plans differ in how you pay and where the software runs — and those two questions have clearer answers than most people expect.

The three plans, plainly

• Subscription — PKR 10,000 / month (PKR 80,000 a year if you pay yearly). Software, cloud hosting, backups and updates included. Cancel whenever you like.
• One-time · Online — PKR 75,000 once: PKR 50,000 for the software and PKR 25,000 for installation and setup. You own the licence; hosting is optional at PKR 20,000 a year.
• One-time · Offline — PKR 75,000 once. Runs on your own machines, on your premises, with no recurring fee and no internet required.

Training (PKR 10,000) and customization (from PKR 20,000) are add-ons on any plan. Prices are before applicable taxes.

How to pick in sixty seconds

1. Do you want to run servers? If no, that is the subscription, or one-time online with hosting. If you already have IT staff and machines, offline is genuinely cheaper over time.
2. Must the data stay on your premises? Some businesses answer yes for policy reasons. That is offline — the trade is that cloud conveniences, such as shareable links, do not apply.
3. Is your internet dependable? A shop that loses connectivity during billing hours should not be billing over the internet. Offline runs without a connection.
4. Cash flow or ownership? Subscription keeps the upfront cost near zero and the software current. One-time is a single payment you own outright.
